Melin Frogwy has been a water mill since the 18th century. There has been a mill on the site since 1574. It stopped milling in 1948 and was converted into a house that provides self-catering five bedroom accommodation for 10/12 people.
Renovations completed in 1997 means the house now provides the perfect setting for a wonderful family or group holiday. The house is fully double glazed and has night storage heaters in each room.
Ground Floor
The kitchen is large and bright with French windows leading onto the raised patio area. It contains fridge-freezer, electric cooker, toaster and microwave.
The shower room is fully adapted for wheelchair users. It contains a toilet, basin and electric shower.
The Cog room is a downstairs lounge/playroom with a sofa bed allowing it to be a bedroom for a wheelchair user. It also has French windows leading onto the patio.
First floor
A narrow staircase leads to a large lounge with a fire and TV and DVD.
There is a double bedroom with a cot and and space for a 'put you up' bed if required.
Second floor
The remaining 3 bedrooms are on this level, 1 with a double bed, 2 with bunks
The bathroom has corner bath, toilet and basin.
